6 week old baby girl kitten she doesn’t have a name yet, but she is headed into foster care. naming kittens is a privilege we give to foster families. she’s gonna grow a little bigger, then she can get adopted and have a super awesome life. WOOT! Advertisements
here is one of 6 kittens that were found on the side of the road. a nice person brought them into our shelter and now they are about to go into foster care. before we do, we want to check and make sure everyone is healthy. each kitten gets their blood drawn. this is usually […]
ginger…who is not a ginger. 1 y.o. female tiger with white. the camera made her a little nervous so she got into her litterbox bed. (it has a blanket instead of litter.) she was surrendered when the owner was having landlord issues. ginger is here with her brother Sam…who IS actually a ginger. weird.
5 y.o. female solid grey she is her namesake…and very curious! camera sniffing included.
our beautiful abigail is doing much better at the shelter. she was diagnosed with anemia and hyperthyroidism. we have started her on an iron-rich food and methimazole for the hyperthyroid. she will have her 6 week follow up blood test in May to see how everything is doing. this poor girl has been through a […]

15 year old female tiger with white the very definition of “saucy”
leo has used up most of his nine lives. when he was born, he almost died and one of my coworkers literally gave him mouth to mouth and resuscitated him. then he, his sister and their mom went into foster care. all was well… eventually, it came time to neuter him. the vet said he […]
