tex was brought to us as stray cat found under someone’s porch. this big man had a condition known as entropion. it’s a condition where the eye becomes severely irritated or infected because the eyelashes are curled into the eye ball. if it is not taken care of, the cat can have some serious damage done to the eye. so Tex had a quick little surgery to take care of it donated by a local vet. the vet made a crescent moon shape cut around the eye and then rolled the eyelash flap back. it’s all sewed up and looking good! today he gets his stitches out and no more “cone of shame”. his eye looks so much better. previously, he could not even OPEN his eye.
